Justino’s
Taking the corner spot once occupied by Et Alia is Justino’s – a family-run Italian restaurant and bar headed up by Justino Romero.
Its well-spaced dining room feels calm and relaxed thanks to plush furnishings and natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. At night, it has a cosy glow which looks particularly inviting after sunset. There is also an outdoor area for alfresco dining, weather permitting.
On the menu you’ll find all the pizza and pasta options you’d expect, plus a range of elegantly presented meat and fresh seafood dishes, such as veal saltimbocca and seabass gremolata.
The wine list is largely Italian, with varieties from Valpolicella, Abruzzo, Benevento and Sicily. There’s a decent selection available by the glass, including prosecco and champagne. Cocktails are another strength.
At weekends, a classic brunch menu brings in a busy crowd, and there is a popular Sunday lunch menu. For a buzzy, cabaret atmosphere, book for a Friday or Saturday night when live music adds another element to the experience.
