Panoramic 34
Panoramic 34 was the UK’s highest restaurant when it opened in 2008, and although others have since taken that title, it still offers an impressive vantage point with a 360-degree view of Liverpool, the Mersey, and beyond to Wales.
Cool tones and crisp white linen in the restaurant make this sky-high destination an unforgettable dining experience with a menu that changes with the seasons and the tides.
Menus are a tribute to the British larder, created with Chef Nathan Booth at the helm. He was previously head chef at Kelp, having also worked for the likes of Six by Nico, Thornton Hall, Roski, Wreckfish, and The Art School.
Lunch, prix fixe, tasting or afternoon tea – you can certainly while away the hours taking in the views at Panoramic 34. Think heritage carrots, scallop, cod and beef fillet on the £99 tasting menu. With canapes, and amuse bouche too.
Vegetarian and vegan diets are well catered for here, with the vegan menu taking ingredients like hen of the woods mushrooms, beetroot and Isle of Wight tomatoes, and giving them the fine dining treatment.
Take afternoon tea in the Cocktail Lounge and enjoy a range of classic sandwiches and house-made cakes and pastries. A gluten fee option is also available.
You didn’t think you could go long in Liverpool without a reference to its favourite sons, did you? Here the cocktail menu sees the Fab Four celebrated with a gin concoction called Strawberry Fields Forever.
