Pippin’s Corner
Pippin’s Corner is a charming, family-friendly cafe-bistro that makes the most of its handsome corner spot on Lark Lane. Head here if you want somewhere to rest and refuel after exploring nearby Sefton Park, or in-between browsing the lane’s independent shops.
The daytime menu features all the expected breakfast, brunch and lunch favourites, from ‘anything on toast’ to eggs benedict to homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and burgers.
The evening menu has more of a bistro vibe with its steaks, sizzlers, and charcuterie sharing platters. Dishes are uncomplicated and hearty, and use local produce wherever possible. Think nourishing, fresh and feel-good, if not always strictly healthy.
Pippin’s Corner is licensed and you can also just drop in for coffee. It gets particularly busy at the weekends – blame those breakfasts and the prime people-watching location.
