Tariff & Dale
Tariff & Dale is a Northern Quarter institution – one of the first to colonize the Rochdale Canal frontier, bringing craft ales and cocktails to a previously ignored part of the area.
It has industrial detailing that celebrates its location smack bang in the middle of former cotton warehouses – how about a hydraulic cotton press for character and a cosy romantic booth in the former lift shaft?
The restaurant and bar is as strong on the food front as it is the drinks front. Expect craft ales – draught, bottled and canned, wines, cocktails and perfect serves of a gazillion different gins.
The food menu is a mix of sharing small plates and pizzas with the loaded focaccia deserving a special mention – the truffle and parmesan is a particular standout.
Tariff & Dale is as modern Manchester as they come – all warehouse chic and cool features with some very tasty food to boot. It’s a great place to take visiting friends or a date – especially if you can bag the lift shaft love seats.
