The Beagle
AmericanThe Beagle is a bustling, eclectic, neighbourhood boozer which has recently replaced its Tex-Mex trash food menu with NYC-style pizza and ice cream sandwiches from local indie Nell’s Pizza.
Fun-loving toppings range from cheese and onion pie to original sausage material, with many veggie and vegan options in there too. Finish on an ice cream sandwich – Cheshire Farms Ice Cream squished between The Beagle’s own in-house cookies.
The food serves well as a cushion for the wide range of cartoon-canned craft beers they have to offer, on tap too of course. They’re serious about beer, with regular tap takeovers from key players in the game and ‘educational’ stuff in the form of periodic beer-school tasting evenings featuring lessons on the brewing process and tips on flavour profiles.
In addition, they hold all sorts of events on a regular basis. Want to learn how to embroider, or check out some locally made art, or peruse other people’s junk at a swap shop, or listen to some jazz? The Beagle’s got you covered.
