Thrift Shop Manchester
Thrift Shop Manchester is an off-shoot of the nationwide Cow vintage brand, aimed at stylish folk who want cheaper togs than they might find in a more curated collection. Prices start at £6 on the lowest band of a colour-coded system (the colour relates to the price label on the back of the hanger, not the colour of the clothing itself, stupid) and items rarely go above £25.
Rails are packed with high street names and well-known brands alongside lesser-known, market stall-style labels. They weed out the fastest of the fast fashion and stick to selling items that’ll survive beyond their first wash. It’s a good place to get decent-quality essentials for the Manchester winter: hoodies, jumpers, jackets and so on. And don’t skip the premium rails where you’ll find labels like Stüssy and Ralph Lauren, still at very reasonable prices.
