Manchester Craft and Design Centre
Manchester Craft and Design Centre is a fantastic space to stroll around whether you’re there to buy or just to browse.
It’s home to the region’s best artisans and has a real community feel. You can buy textiles, jewellery, accessories, ceramics, prints, glass and homeware from talented designers and makers – and sometimes even watch them at their work.
There are regular exhibitions plus workshops where you can learn to make everything from cyanotype lampshades to silver rings.
The café is currently closed but there are plenty of other places to eat and drink in the Northern Quarter where it is situated.
