Radar Festival
Radar Festival is a three-day celebration of boundary-pushing rock, metal and gaming held at Victoria Warehouse. It’s a relative newcomer to the festival scene having started off in Guildford before getting too big for its Surrey boots and heading to Manchester where it has quickly become a fan favourite on the festival scene, picking up a Best New Festival award.
For all the ear-splitting sounds and black leather, Radar is a friendly festival with a sense of inclusion and community. There are two stages inside Victoria Warehouse so your eyeliner doesn’t run if it rains whilst outside is for fresh air and making friends.
The main stage has a world-leading PA system if you like your bands turned all the way up to eleven. It features the biggest acts from the worlds of progressive rock.
The second stage is smaller and sweatier; get ready for the moshpit vortex as the more raucous end of the metal spectrum strut their stuff alongside up-and-coming bands on the scene.
As well as a multitude of live acts, festival-goers can chill out with video games, attend masterclasses and industry talks or shop for the kit to become the next big thing, browsing mics and electric guitars at the music market.
Radar Festival 2025
4-6 July, Victoria Warehouse
Radar Festival 2025 takes place on Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July. Headliners include Carpenter Brut, Underøath, Zeal & Ardor, Vukovi and Normandie but there are many more acts to thrash around to.
Given Manchester’s weather, indoor headbanging at Radar Festival could be just what your summer needs.
