The Snow Centre
With 180m of downhill skiing and snowboarding, The Snow Centre is the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope. And though you can’t compare it to the glistening peaks of Chamonix, it offers enough action to make a day trip there a must for anyone interested in snowsports.
The main slope has fun features such as rails and pipes while the gentle beginner’s slope is perfect for mastering your snowplow turns. If you want to build up your skills and confidence before jetting off to the Alps, the classes here are ideal.
As well as the snowboarding and skiing, there’s a fun-packed snow park with sledging, an ice slide, and inflatable rings.
An Alpine-style cafe-bar adds to the ski resort vibes. You might feel a little disorientated when you step outside again into a rainy day in Trafford Park.
