Immersive Gamebox Manchester
Put down those phones, switch off your screens, and, er, stand in front of another one . . . but this time in your own personal gamebox at Immersive Gamebox in Manchester Arndale.
An afternoon here is actually a really good way to get moving, competing and working together. It’s the ideal activity for kids (and adults) who love gaming and need a good reason to drag themselves out of the house.
There are all sorts of immersive, digital games to choose from, including Squid Game, Alien Aptitude Test, Temple of Coins and Shaun The Sheep: Championsheeps.
With surround sound, motion tracking and touch screens, the technology brings the game to life around you. Drink deliveries from the bar mean you don’t miss any of the fun.
There are plenty of games suitable for families with children of five years and older. The skill level is different for each one so just choose one of the easier options.
Sessions last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on what you’ve chosen and prices start at £10 per half hour for juniors and £15 for 12s-and-over. Under-12s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
