Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester
Legoland Discovery Centre is Manchester’s ultimate Lego playground. If your children like building and creating with those brightly coloured blocks, they’ll love it. There are evening sessions for adults available too so serious Lego architects can geek-out undisturbed. Otherwise adults (15+) must be accompanied by a child to visit.
The Legoland Discovery Centre is a mix of hands-on Lego construction activities and theme park-style entertainment. Take on tower building challenges on the earthquake tables, create aerodynamic cars to race, or play with intergalactic Lego sets in the Space Mission area. There’s also a Duplo building area for younger kids.
Attractions include a 4D cinema, a Ninjago adventure play area, rides, models of local landmarks, and a toddler soft play zone.
There is also a gift shop that stocks a huge range of Lego and a coffee shop selling hot and cold drinks and sandwiches. As Legoland Discovery Centre is at Trafford Palazzo (previously known as Barton Square), there are plenty of food and drink options available.
Pre-booking is essential and multi-attraction tickets are available which allow you to visit both Legoland Discovery Centre and the Sea Life Centre next door.
You can also book a children’s party here – Legoland offers a kids’ birthday party package including party food, a party room, and a host.
