Newsham Scream Park
Once an orphanage and later an asylum, the derelict Newsham Park Hospital has been attracting ghost hunters and urban explorers for years. The atmosphere in its maze of abandoned wards and crumbling corridors is enough to make most people turn around and leg it straight back home – and that was before it was made into Newsham Scream Park.
Add a cast of creepy characters – diabolical nuns, crazed psychiatrists, and sinister cult leaders – and you’ve got one of the most terrifying scare attractions around.
It’s a big fat nope from us, thanks very much. But maybe you’re braver than we are.
Scaredy cats can always retreat to the courtyard where there’s food stalls and a bar, plus live music, DJs, tarot readers, and spirit guides (just in case anyone or anything followed you out).
