Splash World
Splash World in Southport is an inclusive family-friendly water park. It offers a range of attractions but is perhaps more suited to younger splashers.
There’s a shallow toddler splash pool with interactive water play and a larger version too, like an adventure fort only with sprays, waterfalls and small tube slides that don’t drop directly into deep water.
There’s also a tyre ride, a family slide and a fast slide for older visitors but there’s nothing too adrenalin-driven. Some of the slides have a minimum age requirement of six and over and non-swimmers should bring their own arm bands.
Splash World also offers monthly quiet evenings aimed at neurodiverse or disabled children. It’s much calmer, with reduced queueing times and no loud music. Parents, carers and the whole family can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere together.
