Splash Park Huddersfield
Splash Park Huddersfield is another one of the municipal leisure centres done good. This fully-indoor water park has two daredevil slides for older kids with water features and a chance to splash about for younger visitors.
The Flume and The Sidewinder are the two adrenaline experiences – cheaper tickets are available if you’re not planning on launching yourself down these. Before you book, be aware that under 8s must be accompanied by an adult on these slides and you must be at least 1.2m tall.
There’s also the lazy river for a more relaxed session and small slides, water buckets, sprays and fountains for younger splashers.
The slides are only open at certain times which is extended during Kirklees Council school holidays so check before you go.
There’s a bit more to Splash Park Huddersfield than Greater Manchester’s water park offerings so it’s worth the short journey along the M62.
