Bruncho
Bruncho is a relaxed brunch spot on Deansgate focusing on Turkish specialities. The food is healthy and satisfying with a feeling of sunshine thanks to the Mediterranean diet.
Of course, if various healthy iterations of poached eggs just don’t do it for you, then stamp on your fitbit and order pistachio baklava French toast instead.
The menu is a good balance of good to eat and good to treat and plates are presented with colour, texture and style – always a nutritional thumbs-up.
You’ll find classics like full English and eggs benedict and authentic Turkish brunch specialities like shakshuka with sucuk to menemen with padron peppers – the tastiest way to get your protein fix.
If you’re expecting a basic offering of teas and coffees, think again. Try a strong Turkish coffee, an iced matcha and raspberry fusion or a chocolate digestive tea – it’s a hug in a mug.
Bruncho serves the most important part of the meal of the day all day but also offers sandwiches too. The fresh focaccia makes these a top notch lunch option with the pesto and mozzarella option a good choice.
