Leo and Roobs
Named after the owner’s kids, Leo and Roobs is a neighbourhood cafe from the folks behind The Black Friar. It’s all about fresh, healthy, and comforting food, whipped up from scratch by head chef Morgan Lane (formerly with Pot Kettle Black).
Head there for fully loaded breakfast sandwiches, homemade baked beans on crumpets, açai bowls, and fresh pastries. Drinks-wise, the coffee comes from the ethically sourced Extract brand, and they do specialties such as Vietnamese coffee and beetroot lattes, as well as the usual favourites. There’s a few boozy options too in case you’re in a day-drinking mood, plus redemptive smoothies, juices and sodas.
It’s a community focused place so look out for regular events such as sip and paint nights and one-off menu takeovers.
Apart from the events, it’s walk-ins only or you can click and collect your order at their hatch.
