Eight at Gazegill
Eight at Gazegill is the epitome of farm to fork dining. Dishes showcase the organic farming methods and the beautiful British pigs and cattle who roam the land. It’s a truly sustainable venture powered by 100% renewable energy and everything tastes wonderful.
Sat under the imposing Pendle Hill, Eight at Gazegill looks out at the countryside which provides its ingredients with views from every table in the restaurant thanks to its octagonal design.
Typical dishes range from snacks like fermented potato flatbread with raw milk butter, to small plates such as cider-battered cod cheeks with seaweed tartare and crispy capers, or bbq lamb shoulder tacos with foraged herb salsa verde.
Larger plates include options ranging from an impressive 10oz ribeye from the Gazegill herd with dripping chips, wood-roast onions and bone marrow jus, to a hen of the woods mushroom and artichoke barley risotto and girolles (more foraging).
The all-day dining menu is a relaxed family-friendly affair but weekend evenings are more grown-up with a stunning tasting menu that really shows off the culinary flair in the kitchen.
