Salt House Tapas
Residing on the corner of Hanover Street sits Salt House Tapas, a modern yet ambient take on the popular Spanish tapas cuisine. Former employees of Ego Restaurants – Jonny and Paddy – teamed up, back in July 2010, to create their own restaurant where their real dream began.
Although there’s no selection of tapas on show for a quick lunchtime bite – like a typical Spanish lunchtime bite, there’s definitely enough to call it the British take on tapas cuisine. Not only does the menu have a range of cold meats and bar snacks, but a vast mix of meat, veg and fish options to take on.
With it being a Spanish restaurant, we all know comes with a range of alcohol- beer, spirits and especially wine. From white, red and rose there are many Spanish options for you to choose from – with even a sherry and gin bar on offer. Nothing hurts to start the meal with a glass of cold introductory sherry while tackling an assortment of cold tapas.
