Wingstop Trafford Centre
Wingstop Trafford Centre is your choice if chicken is your thing. There are wings (as the name suggests) as well as boneless chicken pieces, crisp tenders, burgers and vast platters. Churros are the one dessert option.
The gimmick here is that you can customise your order with one of ten Wingstop flavours. Choose from sticky-fingered sauces to tasty dry rubs and a Scoville scale that slides up from slightly bland to nuclear blast.
The Hawaiian is a good starting point – full of tangy citrus flavour but your taste buds will remain unviolated by chilli. The lemon pepper and the OG Wingstop special are the most popular choices, where the heat is noticeable but not painful. If you’re going for the mango habanero or the atomic, then you’re braver than the Confidential Guides taste team.
It’s quick, cheap and very popular. With the soaring popularity of the chicken shop in all its forms, from Nando’s to the suburban high street hangout, there’s definitely a place for Wingstop.
