Lock and Key Hotel – Duke Street
Lock and Key Hotel – Duke Street has scooped up various awards and accolades since it opened in 2017 thanks to its mix of bold styling and first-class service.
The rooms are petite but glamorous with globe lighting, velvet furnishings and feature wallpaper. The original features of this Georgian townhouse have been retained where possible, adding to the sense of character and timelessness. It’s the kind of hotel where, once you’re settled in your room, you might find your motivation to leave it again has simply vanished.
But you won’t have to go far to find refreshments (or there’s always room service). Lock and Key has a below-ground ‘speakeasy’ bar with a reputation for well-crafted cocktails. Food-wise, they serve brunch during the daytime and Neapolitan pizzas at night.
That’s pretty much all our needs catered for then. But if you did decide to go outside, you’ll find yourself on one of Liverpool’s buzziest streets. Restaurants, bars, shops, visitor attractions – this boutique hotel is in the right place for easy access to them all.
Open: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun
