Titanic Hotel Liverpool
Titanic Hotel Liverpool is located on Stanley Dock in a former Victorian warehouse. It’s a massive building – titanic, you could say – and they have used the space well. Room sizes are very generous and the public areas feel light and airy with an industrial touch: exposed bricks, steel columns and the like.
Bedrooms mix contemporary sensibilities with a warehouse aesthetic. The superior dockside rooms in particular are stunning with amazing views. They’re good value for what you get.
There is a secure car park for residents and although charges apply at least you aren’t lugging your luggage across town.
Stanley’s Bar and Grill serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Food is simple but good quality: a few well-chosen crowd-pleasers, some pasta dishes and plenty of steaks.
The lobby is the hotel’s rum bar. There’s the option to dine outside on the colonnade in fine weather.
Beneath the hotel is Maya Blue Wellness, a subterranean spa with a hydrotherapy pool and thermal suite under vaulted brick arches. Ten treatment rooms offer a range of services.
