The Cavern Club
It may be a while since The Beatles graced the stage of The Cavern Club but you’ll still find live music played there every day.
Light displays along Mathew Street featuring the club logo illuminate the way to one of the world’s most famous clubs – at least when it’s dark, anyway.
The Cavern Club hasn’t just become a museum. For £5 entry you can enjoy live music on the front stage with its famed arches.
Gigs are also held in The Cavern Club’s Live Lounge – advance booking is recommended for these shows.
Don’t miss The Cavern Club Beatles who play Beatles hits in the Live Lounge every weekend. The Liverpool lads mark 2 have recreated the look and sound of the original Fab Four after being cast at auditions with a little help from late, great Beatles recording engineer Geoff Emerick.
If you’re a full-on fan, celebrate the annual International Beatlesweek festival with live music, memorabilia sales, guest speakers and a Beatles convention.
The Cavern Restaurant provides the food. There’s a wide selection but you can probably find better value at other restaurants nearby.
The gift shop has a surprising range of mementoes – lots of ukuleles – as well as the more usual T-shirts and hoodies.
