Dino Falls Adventure Golf
Dino Falls Adventure Golf is the only landmark kids care about in Manchester. You can’t miss the volcano and huge dinosaurs as you drive past on the M60.
It’s nice to have some outdoor mini golf in Manchester. We’re good for grown-up neon courses, all artfully shambolic, but this is designed to keep the kids happy, T-Rex and all.
There are two 18-hole courses so you get plenty of putting to the pound – you can even play the second course for half-price if you want to make a day of it.
The original rapids course takes in Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops whilst the erupting volcano course involves descending into the bowels of the Earth – well playing a hole inside the volcano model, anyway. All the courses have plenty of water jeopardy and everything is in good nick.
Dino Falls Adventure Golf is floodlit and open late with the last booking at 9.25pm – a good idea for a date with a difference. With the light of cars whizzing past on the motorway, it’s actually pretty atmospheric – like Jurassic Park mixed with Blade Runner.
Entry is through Trafford Golf Centre.
