Nova
Nova is a longstanding favourite for those looking for creative fine-dining on the Wirral. Ran by husband and wife team Moyo and Jana, it expanded into larger premises in 2021, thankfully without losing the warm, relaxing feel of the original restaurant.
Expect artfully presented, elegant dishes such as almond crusted pigeon with glazed, pickled mushroom and black truffle. Or Goan seabass with mussels, compressed coconut, mango, sweet potato and coriander.
As well as their a la carte menu, they do a tasting menu with the option of a matched wine flight, plus a Sunday lunch menu, and an afternoon tea menu. Their mid-week set menu offers good value for money.
