Yoki Social Table at Society
Yoki Social Table at Society is the perfect out-with-mates finger food. It’s known for its sweet and spicy KFC (that’s Korean fried chicken, not the fast food chain).
There’s nothing wrong with the Colonel, but compared to what’s on offer at Yuki Social Table, he struggles to compete.
The sticky red sauce coating crisp chicken is the star of the menu. It’s fiery but not forceful and the sweetness makes it addictive. Having said that, the honey butter garlic KFC is also a hit, especially if you don’t like things too spicy. Great with sticky rice or great with fries, but most importantly, great with beer.
A few mandu (Korean fried dumplings) on the side and you’re in for a feast. Communal tables and a buzzy food hall atmosphere turn the chicken shop takeaway into a more sociable meal. The food still comes in boxes though.
