20 Stories
Manchester’s highest restaurant, bar and terrace 20 Stories was the opening of 2018 and still maintains its status as one of the city’s most popular place to eat, drink, be snapped and be seen. Floor-to-ceiling windows (and a huge, outdoor terrace, the same size as the entire restaurant floor), afford breathtaking views of the city and surrounding countryside, while the menu offers modern British, globally-influenced seasonal dishes.
Start with dishes such as pan fried red Argentinian prawns with chilli and garlic butter, jalapeno, and lime mayonnaise. Steak or giant sharing cuts such as the 35oz porterhouse are a thrill. They do great desserts (this is a people-pleasing kind of place after all) including imaginative sweet treats, many starring seasonal ingredients.
