Arcade Arena
Arcade Arena brings gaming to life with two different activities. Chaos Karts puts you in the driving seat of an immersive augmented reality experience giving a new take on traditional karting while PacMan Live lets you and your friend navigate the mazes and ghosts of the classic retro arcade – for real.
PacMan Live gets our vote for family fun – and it’s good for office away days too if you don’t mid looking ridiculous in front of your boss. Run away from those ghosts round the virtual maze, gobbling up dots as you go.
It’s the best sort of screen time – you get to stay active and become part of the game.
Unlike the ghosts. Chaos Karts go-karts are real and so are the other players but the tracks, power-ups and arcade-style weapons are all virtual.
Rack up those points by collecting jewels (not real ones, sadly) and power-ups like bombs and hammers (also virtual) that you can use to get one up on your opponents.
Because your surroundings are just projections, you can race almost anywhere, from Daytona Beach to the furthest reaches of the galaxy.
Chaos Karts is great for team-building but save the beers for afterwards or you won’t be allowed to race. Hair must be tied back and sensible shoes must be worn. You have been warned.
