Electric Shuffle
Electric Shuffle is a fresh take on shuffleboard. Usually associated with the pubbier end of the bar spectrum or the subterranean neon of a gaming venue, this is something new.
Electric Shuffle has the glossy look and colour scheme of a cocktail bar chain – but with added shuffleboard. It’s a more feminine, inclusive space with a large bar and dining area.
Typical food offerings range from burgers and pizzas to lighter wraps and small plates with the usual beers on tap plus a few crafts. The cocktail offering is very good and includes slushies and some rather nifty trophy sharers – for the winning shuffleboard team, of course.
Electric Shuffle plugs in the pucks thanks to some fancy tech which allows players to join in all sorts of different games rather than just straight-up shuffleboard. Although this means the set-up can be a bit arduous, it stops things getting tedious. The mash-up between gaming and playing games is a bit of a novelty but it does work.
It’s sure to be the venue of choice for many a work night out and with its central location, it’s definitely a good call if you’re tasked with organising a team-building event.
Although this all sounds like fun and games, it’s not child’s play. Adults only on the shuffle lanes, folks.
