Permit Room

Permit Room is a relaxed all-day dining spot with everything from coffee to cocktails. It’s by Dishoom so you can expect punchy Indian flavours and popular small plates.

It’s a social place, great for drinks with friends and dancing as well as dining. It’s casual but the imposing building on Dale Street means it still feels a bit fancy – even if you’re just there for a bacon butty. Well, with Dishoom’s famous bacon naan rolls served for breakfast, it’s hard to resist.

The menu ranges from those esteemed naan rolls and chicken keema pau in the morning to curries, grills and small-ish plates.

Confidentials loves the crispy spinach chaat, the chilli broccoli salad and the prawn moilee. The whole chicken tandoori also makes an excellent centrepiece for sharing.

With everything from coffee to DJs and events, you’re permitted to stay as long as you wish.
