Manchester River Cruises
Want to fall in love with your city all over again? Take a boat tour from Manchester River Cruises, and you’ll see its iconic views from a new and surprising perspective.
Tours last 60-70 minutes and you’ll find out interesting nuggets about the history of the Manchester Ship Canal and the surrounding area as you sail past MediaCity, Old Trafford, Stephenson’s 1830 bridge and the disused dry docks. They also offer match day travel to Old Trafford by boat saving you the hassle of parking and traffic.
There are popular live music events where Manchester River Cruises becomes a gig venue with a difference. Local tribute acts make the music of the stars come alive. The Elvis Live, Swing & Rat Pack, Dolly and Adele cruises are often sell-out shows.
The Princess Katherine is a purpose-built fully-equipped Dutch-style sightseeing vessel with toilets onboard and a bar serving tea, coffee, wine, beer and more throughout the trip.
The cruises are a round trip departing from Pier 8 at Salford Quays under the Millennium Footbridge.
