Roxy Ball Room Manchester Arndale
With its ten pin bowling, pool tables, beer pong, and shuffleboard, Roxy Ball Room Manchester Arndale will keep you entertained for hours.
It’s an American-styled bar with a whole bunch of games to play, making it popular for birthday nights out or group gatherings. (It’s over-18s only so it’s not somewhere to bring the kids.)
You can book your games in advance if you like, or just turn up and see what’s available. One of our favourites is crazy pool – a mash-up of pool and crazy golf, best enjoyed after a few shots of Jägermeister.
The food and drink is a big part of the attraction (read our writeup on the Deansgate Roxy to get all the details). It’s mainly easy eats that you can munch on between rounds – think sliders, slices, fries and so on. Plus a good range of beers and inexpensive cocktails.
The playlist is indie and the lights are low and neon, even in the middle of the day. Afternoon will slip easily into evening here, and chucking out time isn’t until 1am.
